Aquos Controller
The Fox Controller is a balanced and lightweight rod specifically developed for surface fishing. At 11’ it is perfectly suited to small intimate venues, or swims with overhanging trees while the classic through action 1¾lb test curve allows the use of light lines and small hooks without risking breakages or lost fish.
At 12’ the blank will pick up line and set the hook quickly, while the stepped up 2¼lb test curve makes it ideal for mastering big carp in weedy venues when using heavier tackle. For open water surface fishing the blank is responsive and forgiving enough to allow the use of light lines and small hooks without risking breakages or lost fish.
Designed for use with floats up to 20gms, the Controller will also cast heavier ‘bubble’ style floats with ease and accuracy. During development this blank has accounted for dozens of double figure and twenty pound carp from a variety of venues and is truly a joy to play fish on.
Finished in a subtle and classy matt olive green with a 3K carbon overwrap for added strength, the Controller features a full length olive EVA handle with anodised fittings, the unique Fox slimline reel seat, a hook retaining ring and full SiC guides.
