Replacing the Solstace Match was always going to be a tough call for Shimano, as one of the best-selling rods in the range, it had thousands of devotees. Nexave Match pays tribute to the style and form of its predecessor with similar cosmetic approach. But that's where the similarity ends as the Nexave range is based on a brand new blank and is made utilising XT30 carbon and the revolutionary 'TCurve' high power carbon. The improved strength to weight ratio makes this range ideal for today's commercial angling scene. The Shimano Dynamic Response tip sections (SDR) produce a natural progressive tip curve that ensures maximum performance, whilst other upgrades include the brilliant new ergonomic reel seat. This stylish looking seat is unobtrusive and has a gentle soft touch feel, perfect for the cold weather. When big weight or big fish are on the cards it's simply a pleasure to hold. Stainless steel hypo tubing on the female joints and at the base of the spigots gibe the rod a touch of class and provide additional security on the pressure points. Unlike the Solstace range this improved specification range also features a 13' light version, as well as a 15' Specimen Float.
