Dry, soft and full of crisp fruit on the palate fresh limes on the finish. 2. Colombard, Sauvignon, Clos de Menard, Cote de Gascoigne, (Gold Medal Winner) 2004 £14.95 Light glittering colour, bouquet of exotic passion fruit and acacia, medium dry with the fragrance which warms the heart. 3. Organic Frascati Superiore, Casale Mattia, Italy 2004 £16.95 A completely biological wine. Shiny yellow with pale green reflections, vivid honey Malvasia aromas enhanced by an expressive grapiness. Uplifting experience on the palate. 4. Oak Aged Chardonnay, Reserve, Wattleglen, Australia 2004 £16.95 This light silver colour, has a powerful nose of dry apricot, vanilla, long in the mouth with forward fruit. 5. Chardonnay, Piritas, Tarapaca, Chile 2002 £17.95 Light gold colour, barrel fermented in French Oak, rich and creamy with a concentration of cantaloup, honey melons and pears. Full bodied, this Chardonnay is absolutely divine. 6. Chablis, Saint Roche, Colombier 2004 £18.95 A clearly brilliant wine in every sense, shining golden green with lush scents of blossom and fresh pears. 7. Sauvignon Blanc, Whitecliffe Vineyards, Sacred Hill, New Zealand 2004 £19.95 Typical Marlborough. Light silver coloured and deliciously aromatic with guava and lime bouquet, plenty of full ripe tropical fruit and gooseberries on the palate with a long clean finish.   Red Wines 8. Pinotage, Cape Mandelay, South Africa 2002 £14.95 Deep violet red colour instant exhalting bouquet of fresh cherries and crushed raspberries. Medium and very fruity displaying forward young fruit. Pleasant drinkable finish. 10. Rioja Crianza, Monte Ocijo, Spain 2001 £16.95 Made from grapes grown at high altitude on the South facing slopes of the Sierra de Cantabria mountain range. 12 months in non-toasted oak casks. Gleaming red bouquet of morello cherries with a touch of vanilla. 11. Chianti Riserva, Novecento, Gini, Italy 1997 £17.95 An enchanting wood aged wine, beautifully dark, almost black and full bodied with immediate cherry and leathery flavours on a rich, expressive palate, a silky wine with a lovely bouquet of Sangiovese. 12. Cabernet Sauvignon, Gran Reserva, Tarapaca, Chile 2001 £27.95 The Gran Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon opens with a forward, chocolatey, smoky nose leading into a wine of impressive intensity. Ripe black fruit flavours are intense and concentrated, balanced with rich coffee, chocolate and oak elements to create a smoothly harmonious whole. On the palate the wine lingers, supple and voluptuous, with excellent body and tannins that promise uncommon ageing potential. 14. Splendidly ripe with particularly good fruit with pleasing oak aged flavours. A velvety taste with good body and a long fine finish.   Rosé Wine 15. Rosado de Lagrima, Rioja, Spain 2004 £12.95 A brilliant dark rose, juicy red fruit aromas, very fruity reminiscent of strawberries and apple. Zingy and vivacious in the mouth. 16. Gamay Rosé, Vin du Pays de Retz, Loire 2004 £14.95 Rosé bursting with colour, notable aromas of Gamay evolving through to fresh pommegranite and strawberry.   Champagne & Sparkling 17. Prosecco Spumante Brut Cristal, Azienda Abbazia, Italy £18.95 Light silver colour, sparkling, lovely fresh aromas and bouncy, dry, crisp flavours with a light texure. Very tasty indeed. 18. Bollinger Special Cuvee £45.00 A classic Grand Marque Champagne. Superbly full bodied and dry with apricots on the nose and toasty oak flavours that linger and linge   Sweet Wines 21. Organic Frascati Cannellino, Casale Mattia, Italy 2004 50cl Bottle £12.95 A speciality from the Roman hills around Frascati. Late Picked Malvasia, Trebbiano and Bombino. A brilliant silver gold wine with a floral nose of jasmin blossom on a juicy palate of rose petals and a succulent freshness with a condensed taste of honey and melon. If a Vintage is incorrect, a suitable alternative will be offered.
