This particular cake was in keeping with the red theme of the wedding.
The base is Gorwydd Caerphilly, a Welsh farmhouse unpasteurised cheese with a full, earthy flavour
Red Devil: Encased in a bright red wax this red leicester with chilli is indeed very eye catching
Blue Wensleydale: a lovely, creamy blue Dales cheese which is not too strong
Chaource: a white, bloomy french cheese from the Champagne region, which melts in the mouth and becomes runny as it matures
The purple waxed heart at the front is an organic cheddar from Somerset called Godminster Vintage
