Stonehaven is set for a busy Festive Season.
 The Christmas lights were switched on Friday 25th November 2005
The Business Association has organised a Marketing Campaign with Radio Advertising on North Sound for late November/early December to attract more people to the town
On Sunday 27th November 2005, crowds flocked to the Town Hall Stonehaven where the SBA were holding a Christmas Fair.
Around 30 local businesses took part and everyone was delighted with the attendance and brisk trade was enjoyed by all the stall holders.
All local businesses put on an excellent display and many eyes were opened to what was actually available in Stonehaven.
Entertainment was provided throughout the afternoon with a selection of Christmas music from Keyboard Player/ Singer Joe from Ma Simpson's.
 The Fetteresso Choir enthralled the crowd with a selection of beautiful songs.
This event has proved to be a great success for the SBA and it is hoped to repeat this next year.
A special Christmas website linked to www.stonehavenguide.net has been created to show why Stonehaven is Special during the Festive Season
In addition to the normal Farmers Market on the 1st Saturday of the month an additional Market will be held on Saturday 17th December.
