The Scottish Traditional Boat Festival - Portsoy
At the Scottish Traditional Boat Festival, in Portsoy, every member of the family can discover, enjoy and participate in the maritime and cultural heritage of the North East of Scotland.
This includes sailing, fishing, history, crafts, theatre, literature and language, music, dance and dancing and food and drink.

The Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, to be held in St Andrews, Scotland from October 4-7, 2007, is one of the highlights of the European Tour. A unique event with the world’s leading professional golfers playing alongside amateurs over three of the world’s best known links courses.
Last year’s Padraig Harrington won both the individual and team Championship.
In the past, the tournament has drawn some of the greatest stars in the world of golf, Vijay Singh, Ernie Els and Colin Montgomerie to name a few. The competition also attracts well-known amateur players, who in the past have included Michael Douglas, Hugh Grant, Samuel L Jackson and Dennis Quaid.
Entrance will be FREE on 4, 5, 6 October. Tickets will be £15 (concessionary £10) on October 7. Tickets are available through the ticket hotline on 0870 010 9021 or at the entrance gates.
