An Evening of Music at Dunnottar Church
An evening concert with something for everyone is to be held at the newly refurbished Dunnottar Church on Friday 10th November at 7:30pm.
Claire Telford, violinist and George Donald, pianist will present a programme of both Classical and Scottish music.
Distinguished musicians, both in the United Kingdom and on the international stage, and with north- east backgrounds,
Claire and George have collaborated on several occasions including a recent National Trust Cruise to Iceland, Greenland and the Arctic.
Both artists keep a busy schedule. Claire is a member of staff at the Royal College of Music in London and is currently performing in two concerts in Atlanta. George, perhaps best known as the Musical Director of the highly successful revue “Scotland the What?” continues to present classical music concerts, in which he has partnered his violinist friend, Vahan Ananian, based in Los Angeles and the Scottish singers Lisa Milne, Linda Ormiston, Anne Lorne Gillies, Donald Maxwell, Peter Morrison and James Nicol.
Stonehaven is very privileged to have two such gifted artists entertain at this concert.
Tickets are available from Giulianotti’s Shop and Celtic Chords in Stonehaven. Price £8-50 which includes light refreshment.
