Record Crowds at Stonehaven Open Air Pool
From Friday 14th to Monday 17th July the Open Air Pool recorded it’s highest number of visitors over a weekend. The scorching weather attracted 3.822 through the turnstiles.
The Hot Tub on loan from Sauchen based spa company, Monarch Hot Tubs has been a great success especially with local resident Betty Lawson who is is crippled with arthritis and osteoporosis She said that using the Hot Tub is helping her immensely.
The Hot Tub is available for a few weeks free of charge
Please note however that pregnant woman and anyone under 16 will not be allowed to use it.
Monarch is hoping those sampling the tub will be tempted to consider one for their own back garden.
Mary Mitchell who chairs Friends of the Pool states they have already had over 18.000 visitors since the Pool opened on 4th June 2006 for the season and she is amazed at the popularity of the Hot Tub which is a welcome addition to the Pool Area.
It is only on loan for 3 weeks from 10th July and Mary is hopeful the popularity of this feature will persuade Monarch to leave it there for a longer period.
