With a flock of over 900 Welsh cross ewes, which lamb mainly to Texel rams, means there is a near constant supply of quality grass fed lambs all year round. All but for a small gap which is filled by my wife Becky’s Black Welsh Mountain lambs.
Our lamb has gained much comment for its quality and flavour especially from T.V chef James Martin who uses it for his most prestigious events and venues.
In his recent book ‘The Great Village Show Cookbook’ he states,
‘I think award- winning butcher Colin Robinson from Grassington near Skipton has some of the best lamb in the country. I serve it at royal dinners.’
