Ultima has devoted the best part of two years into creating a hi tech line that delivers not only the power, but also the high performance levels of the other key characteristics that most anglers demand.
Polymer technology has moved on more in the last ten years than in the previous fifty. However, most hi tech lines needed special knots. Many couldn’t take abrasion, often to such an extent that they couldn’t be used on reels at all. Twisting, kinking, springiness; you really had to know what you were doing to benefit fully from the strength advantages of a hi tech line.
What wasn’t there was a fully rounded product that had not only great strength but had the other vital performance characteristics developed to the same degree, until now.
