Perkins Contracts Limited supplies and fits thermal insulation to pipework, ductwork and vessels throughout the South of England, including London. Our apprentice trained laggers have considerable experienced in the application of thermal insulation to pipework, ductwork and vessels, using a wide range of materials and finishes including foil, Isogenopak, Polyisobutelyne, Aluminium, Stainless Steel and Ventureclad. In addition to medium temperature installations we are also fully conversant with the special requirements of insulating steam, chilled and refrigerated plant. With the spotlight on energy conservation, the need for good thermal insulation practice has grown in importance in recent years. Yet, in spite of a significant growth in the production of high-tech insulation materials, many domestic, industrial and commercial properties remain insulated to a poor standard. Apart from the high costs of operating inefficient heating and cooling systems, the use of excess fuels and gases increases the pollution of the environment. Due to our considerable experience relating to all aspects of thermal insulation, we are able to offer comprehensive solutions to many problems. We are also developing a new exterior insulation that can be applied in damp and cold weather conditions. Details and prices will be available shortly.
