The Stalker is a straight bodied shad profile buoyant crank bait, that has been specifically designed for use in shallow water or for targeting pike when they are feeding in the upper layers of the water. By using a slow to medium steady retrieve, the Stalker produces a highly enticing ‘rolling action’. Alternatively, try working the Stalker with a short ‘popping’ action over sub-surface weed beds to provoke a reaction from predators lying in cover! The ideal running depth is approximately 2 metres which requires a fast crank. Shallower depths of just under three feet can be achieved (whilst still retaining the action) by crawling the Stalker back on a really slow retrieve. This lure can also be trolled at a slow to medium speed where depths of eight feet can be reached.

Good in most water clarities but more effective in stained and lightly coloured water conditions & low light
