While Supercup is my favourite groundbait for roach, other species love it as well, escecially skimmers, perch and tench.
I always use it in two main ways. Mixing it on the dry side and squeezing it hard before throwing or cupping it in makes it get down to the bottom fairly quickly before breaking up almost immediately. This is best in up to 10 feet of water, particularly if the bottom is sloping as a sticky, heavy ball of groundbait would be in danger of rolling away.
By squeezing the same mix just enough to hold it together, it becomes an excellent slow-sinking cloud groundbait which will attract fish into the swim from a long way off.
To make a longer lasting cloud, use 50/50 mix of Supercup and Van den Eynde Special. Add PV1 Collant in deep swims on running water
