In July 2007 Ian Peacock from Din Tur lead a Journast trip for Boat Fishing Monthy, his guests were Dave Barham the editor of the magazine and Jim Mdgley. They achieved amazing catch results of over 50 double figure Coalfish of between 12 to 19lb in only 5 days! How did they achieve these results? Trolling Rapala X Rap Magnum 20 & 30 Lures. Where did they troll? Next to the school coalfish (2-4lb) busting into baifish at the surface. This normally happens in the evening, 7pm onwards but no not worry the sun does not go down! Fishing Techniques: Troll the lure between around 3-4 Knots, have a lure set at 25-30metres from the boat and one at 35-40metres.
