Every Coyote and Arctic Hot Tub has the thickest, heaviest shell in the industry. The acrylic finish is backed with hand-rolled fibreglass composites that allows the acrylic to support the weight of the water and bodies without any other reinforcements. The multiple layers throughout the hull increase the structural integrity, which is one of the reasons Arctic offer a Lifetime Structural Warranty on all of their spa hulls.
There are a wide range of high gloss, marbled and textured acrylics for the shell surface and to make cleaning even easier you can add a “Microban” anti-bacterial coating.
Other manufacturers rely on wood, PVC or metal for structural reinforcement.
