Manorfield has a full complement of staff which means that our Residents are able to have confidence in familiar, reliable, caring and experienced Staff who provide reassuring continuity.
Our 16 members of staff provide a solid platform on which to build core values essential to the wellbeing and happiness of our Residents ensuring that Manorfield is indeed "A HOME From HOME."
Training and Experience:- Starting from the top Tina Buckley spent many years working for the NHS as a trained nurse. Lorraine Leach's career has always been in care for the elderly. Prior to the purchase of Manorfield both partners had experience in running a residential care home.
Staff Training Strategy:- Well trained and well managed Staff provide a relaxed and reassuring atmosphere for Residents and a happy Staff because they can have confidence and satisfaction in their work. Staff undergo all statutory training:- Fire, first aid, food & Hygene, abuse awareness, moving & handling. In addition our Staff are supported in undertaking additional National Vocation courses.
