Olive of Troy our Gold Award winning Extra Virgin Olive Oil from the area of Ancient Troy on the Turkish Agean Coast.
We are very proud of our single estate Extra Virgin Olive Oil. The Ertur Family has been producing this Olive Oil since 1899. The estate is in a region where their ancestors have been making this golden elixir for over 4,000 years. The olives are hand-picked very early in the season, sometimes as early as October, which gives our Early Harvest Extra Virgin Olive Oil their distinctly fruity taste. They are then cold-pressed within only a few hours of picking to seal in the freshness and full taste.
Our Olive of Troy - Selection range is a more fuller bodied Extra Virgin Olive Oil with a deeper golden colour. It is made from the Olives of the same single family estate, the only difference being that the Olives are picked about a month later, giving the oil a little more of a mature flavour.
