The drag system is mounted on the spool front, and is coil spring loaded, allowing minute adjustments to be made.
The settings run from virtual free spool for "Bite & Run" fishing, to solid, for casting security.
Daiwa's patented "Line Guard" system prevents back spool tangles and a free-running ceramic line roller ensures long line life.
