We are fortunate here at the Glencairn as we are only a few minutes walk from the harbour where you will find two excellent pubs both serving meals.
Visit The Tolbooth Museum, Stonehaven's oldest building - the Earl Marischal's 16th - century storehouse which served as the County Tolbooth of Kincardineshire from 1600-1767 .
There is a Seafood Restaurant above the Museum.
In the summer there are Boat Trips available along the coast to Catterline and the Fowlsheugh Bird Sanctuary.
You will see many interesting nooks and crannies and caves along this spectacular coastline.
You can take a pleasant walk along the Board Walk to the North End of Stonehaven where you will find the Leisure Centre and the famous Open Air Pool.
Beyond the Leisure Centre and Open Air Pool is the Stonehaven Golf Club.
Of course your stay in Stonehaven would not be complete without a visit to Dunnottar Castle
This is just a short sample of things to do.
