LIVE COMEDY AT THE GEORGE
WINTER/SPRING 2009
The Live at The George Comedy Club is going from strength to strength. As fans of stand up from our time living in London, we were keen to start a club and booked our first gig in 2004 with some trepidation, not knowing how it might go down in South Molton and what the take-up might be.
So popular are our Comedy events now in 2009 that we've decided to programme one comedy gig every month starting in January with Robin Ince who performed his new show Bleeding Heart Liberal to a sell out audience. Andrew Maxwell came in March and wowed our auduence with his unique style of irish banter.

Micky Flanagan
Friday 3rd July 2009
|
Despite being snowed off in February, Micky Flanagan wasn't put off making another visit to SOuth Molton and this time he's here with his pre Edinburgh show ably supported by Kevin Shepherd. He's a self confessed East End herbert who went away and got himself an education. Flanagan now bestrides two classes, feeling uncomfortable in both. WHat a fine position for a comedian to occupy. ' Astonishgly good - a cockney extraordinaire and cracking stand-up Time Out. For online booking click here
