The George has 9 comfortable en-suite bedrooms located on two floors of our elegant and historic hotel. Come and stay for just bed and breakfast or why not have dinner in our delightful restaurant. Special dinner, bed and breakfast rates are available.

2 Single Rooms

All rooms can be let as singles.

One of our double rooms can be combined with the single room to offer family accomodation in a two separate rooms with one door accessing both. Please specify if you would like to book these rooms.

All rooms are en suite and equipped with Digital TV, Hospitality tray, hairdryer and wireless Broadband Internet access. Residents have full use of our comfortable Resident’s Lounge located on the first floor which has a large screen TV, books and children’s games.

Our first floor rooms have been fitted with new power showers and a new bath and power shower in Room 3. If you would like a first floor room, please mention this when making your reservation.

We are currently updating all of our bedrooms with luxury leather new beds and pocket sprung mattresses as well as beginning the redecoration of the bedrooms.

A full English Breakfast (or Continental if preferred) is included in the cost of your room. Our guests often comment about our delicious breakfasts….

Breakfast is served from 7.30 – 9.00am on weekdays and 9.00-10.00am on Sundays unless by prior arrangement.
