Brian Warrington & Neil Truelove
Trout & Salmon
Our resident casting tuition is given by Brian Warrington, and Neil Truelove. They are both AAPGAI instructors. Brian in both Salmon and Trout casting. Neil in Salmon, although he will be taking his advanced Trout qualification this year. Both Neil and Brian offer tuition throughout the year on Ingbirchworth Reservoir, and when the shop moves to its new premises, on our casting pools. You will also see them both at all the shows and events that we attend through the season, where they will give there own honest views to you.

Neil is a partner in the prestigious 3 Acres Inn, one of the 10 best places to eat in the country, the Sunday Telegraph stated earlier this year. Neil is putting together some packages where you can have your tuition, eat and sleep at the hotel.

Stuart Minnikin,
Stuart owns and runs Yorkshire Dales Flyfishing from Skipton, North Yorkshire, the "Gateway to the Dales". He is a fully qualified fly fishing instructor and former member of the England International Rivers Fly Fishing Team. He is endorsed by the Hardy Greys Academy of Instructors.

Glyn Freeman
GLYN FREEMAN is a full time fully qualified fly casting instructor and guide, an active member of A.A.P.G.A.I. (Association of Advanced Professional Game Angling Instructors). Qualifications - Masters in Salmon and Trout Disciplines, Advanced Fly Dressing, and FFF (Federation of Fly Fishers USA) Masters Trout. Full liability insurance, CRB (criminal records bureau) checked, child protection awareness, licensed coach and first aid. See more about Glyn at

Philip White

Philip is APGAI qualified in all three disciplines of fly fishing. In his past lives he has been a river keeper on the Derbyshire Wye, and is a contributor to Trout and Salmon magazine. Philip has also created his own tying DVDs called The White Way. A very passionate man when it comes to his sport. Philip is a regular fly tyer at both the Spring Flyfishing Show and the International Fly Fair held at Trentham Gardens in the autumn. Philip will be holding tying workshops in our new shop.
Bryan Martin.
Bryan is APGAI qualified in Trout, Sea Trout, and Salmon. Being based in Devon based he also gives guided days for Bass.
