This vice is designed to make fly tying more flexible. On the side of the vice is a quick-release lever, and when squeezed, the vice opens. In its normal position the vice is in the “clamp” position. The spring of the vice gives a solid hold on the hook when tying. The vice has very good rotation to give a good visual view and for example attaching hackles.

The angle of the vice can also be adjusted on this model.
