Polar Hair is a very translucent soft nylon fibre that comes in hanked form.  It has an integrity of 4.5 inches to 6 inches.  If you wish to add a little depth to a pattern lets say as a filler between sparse fibres this will give you that.  It also makes tremendous dubbing brushes.  Polar hair has the ability to add a third dimension to any larger pattern.  The off cuts make good dubbing too, very similar to SLF.
