Slinky Fibre
|
H2O Slinky Fibre from Fishient is a nylon type fibre with a soft crinkle which gives the fly a body and remains open in the water and through casting. If you mix Slinky Fibre with a little hanked Lite Brite a real irridescent fishy like flash can be obtained, but just remember not to go overboard with the flashy material. It is very, very resilient and surprisingly mobile, either as a sole dressing componant or as an additive to natural fibres to stiffen them. We personally use Slinky Fibre in our pike and saltwater flies because of this, it really stands up to abuse.
