The RIO Midge Tip was designed for nymphing in the top 12" of the water. However it is also a brilliant line for buzzer fishing across the wind when a floating line would just skip round too quickly. The AquaLux tip serves as an anchor and helps slow the speed of the drift of the line down to allow your flies to sink. Put a booby on the point of your leader with a couple of emerger patterns on droppers for an effective " washing line " presentation when the fish are really high in the water and easily spooked. The line also makes an ideal sink tip to fish effectively over drop offs from either the bank or a boat. It is one of those lines that when you start to use it you wonder how you ever managed without it. Available in WF5 - WF9. 100` long.
