The low cost cartridge spool system that the Greys GRXi is based upon has pushed this reel towards reservoir dominance. It is a true proven workhorse reel for the trout angler. It also makes a brilliant reel for the starter angler, with its four cassettes and reel case they can very cheaply carry all three major line densities. There is no cage to trap the line between spool change over, and changing from right to left hand wind is a doddle.
