Probably the first distinct difference you will see with this range of rods is the figure shaped, ergonomic handles which come in a variety of sizes to fit the demands from each model.  The blanks have a cool, exclusive and impact resistant finish to give the rod that very special and different look.  Guideline have created different curves for these rods making it possible for you to find exactly the rod that suits your style and casting speed.  In the trout models they are LLF = light line fly, suited for light delicate close to mid range fishing on moorland streams and smaller lakes.  HPF = high performance fly, these are the all round core of the Le Cie range.  These rods are suited for general fishing applications such as rainbows in reservoirs and lakes to trout and grayling in larger rivers.  These rods are slightly faster than the LLF range and create a higher line speed that leads to longer casts.  PF = power fly, these are the work horse rods for fishing the coast or lakes and larger rivers for sea trout, salmon and trout etc.  Overall these rods are built to handle wind and larger flies.
