Korda Skyliners Inline Lead - from RRP £1.05
The Skyliner is the same shape as the Swivel Distance lead so it carries through many of the same qualities, like the swivel version it is designed as the furthest casting lead in the inline range. Steve Spurgeon is a big fan of the inline especially when he is fishing an open water with very little weed he says 'because the Skyliner fly's so straight it is perfect for my Smash me Up sessions at places like Layer Pits in Colchester. The fish here feed very confidently so I want them to feel the weight of the lead instantly but at the same time I must know for sure that the lead will go exactly where I want it. A miscast wastes a Funnel Web bag which is a pain even though I can now make one in less than 10 seconds, solid bag fans watch and learn If I am getting 30 takes in one day I need a system that never tangles and will stay perfect all day, bite after bite after bite. The lead clips are good but when you are getting this much action the rubbers do tend to wear and eventually you start to loose leads off the clips where the rubber has loosened, changing for a new one does cure it but I don't want to waste time doing this or lose any leads if I don't have too, even though I look at about a million leads every day and get them for free! The inline system incorporating the Skyliner, Korda Rubber and Rig Tube is so easy to set up and it does the job, what else can I say, get on the Skyliners!'
