Korda Big Grippa Swivel - from RRP £1.05
Basically anywhere you need more grip, like rivers, on the sides of bars, marginal slopes, boating out extreme range. Korda have recorded that you can get the same grip with a 1oz Grippa as you can with a 2oz Swivel Pear Lead, so with that in mind you can get away with a smaller lead so do the same job which is an advantage when fishing for barbell and chub on the rivers, also a smaller lead makes a smaller splash so we like using them for casting to gently sloping island margins where a round lead can roll down. The Grippa have become massively popular on the continent where carping in wide fast flowing rivers is the norm and where you have to boat out baits massive distances.
