The korda clip is a lead release system designed to perfectly compliment korda swivel leads. Extensive field-testing has ensured you can decide when you want the lead to release.
The unique serrated edge gradually increases grip of rubber, wet with saliva before fitting. The unique round arm is strong enough to handle 5oz leads in the hands of an animal caster.
Basic rule of lead release system - The swivel must not pull out before the lead releases. If it does the lead will never release this is why we insist you use korda products to ensure the system works correctly.
Test the rig by holding the lead and hoolink and pulling away from each other. If the swivel pulls out first make sure it is past the special ridge and loosen the fit on the rubber until the lead pulls of first.
Advantage of lead releasing - strangely the fish comes up in the water quickly making it easy to play it over snags, bars and weed. To make the lead come off more easily, don't push rubber on so far or coat the clip in cooking oil or fish oil before fitting the korda rubber.
