Mattress cover
The first part of the system is an elasticated mattress cover that fits over the top of the bed chair.
Using their lightweight water repellent VT Soft material on one side and a fleece liner on the other means that it is an ideal piece of equipment for both summer and winter use.
Used fleece side-up and it adds more comfort to the bed chair and also provides extra warmth in the winter.
Turn it over and it gives a water repellent membrane between the user and the bed chair thus keeping the bed chair mattress clean.
From a hygiene point of view it is especially useful if you are using rental kit on holiday and you do not want to rest on a bare mattress that others have been using.
Summer bag
This lightweight sleeping bag is ideal for a multitude of uses as it doubles up as a sleeping bag and a sleeping bag cover.
It is a big bag that packs down well and the outer shell is made of water repellent VT Soft material so it will not soak up condensation/dew.
The inside is quilted rather than fleeced because in the summer fleece is more prone to sticking to hot skin.
A full length zip that opens along the foot allows the whole bag to be opened out and turned into a cover, and there is a pouch in the head section of the bag that holds a mosquito mesh that can be thrown over the head when using an open fronted bivvy or sleeping out under the stars.
It is large enough for the mid-season bag to be fitted inside to combine summer and mid-season bags to make a cold weather system.
Mid-season bag
The Mid-season bag is a heavy duty fleece lined bag made from VT Soft water repellent material.
Zipped on both sides it has a nylon foot wipe on the inside and outside to protect both the inner fleece and the outer shell from getting dirty.
It’s a big bag that will accommodate the larger carp anglers amongst us and incorporates a zipped pocket housing a mosquito shroud.
For that extra warmth, it fits perfectly inside the Summer bag to create a warm winter combo that will last you through the 4 seasons.
