The carp angler’s primary aim when adding concentrated powdered sweetener is to give the bait an added underwater catching life. This is because powders are less soluble and therefore do not wash out from the bait as quickly as liquids. By including a highly concentrated powdered sweetener in the bait you are not only improving its palatability, you are also extending its attraction.
All three versions have a wonderful ‘back-of-the-throat’ sweetness that makes them practically irresistible and, due to the unique smell and taste, they give your bait an edge that makes it stand out from the crowd.
Sold in 50g standard tubs with a 2g dosage spoon for accurate measurement, we suggest you use the Super Sweets at between 2 and 4g per 16oz/500g, mixed in with the eggs prior to adding the base mix.
Incidentally, if you are having a 20kg sack of base mix prepared by us at the factory, ask your retailer to instruct us to include the requisite amount of your favourite Super Sweet at the blending stage to achieve a more even mix of the powdered sweetener throughout the sack.
