The newest addition to the JRC rod range is the Blade, originally designed by Dave Lane as a fore runner for his own range, they have now been tailored for the JRC market.
By using a blend of high modulus 65 and 30 ton carbons in the construction, the diameter of the blank has been kept as low as possible
These rods have a high recovery rate after casting and are capable of putting leads extreme distances with no problems whatsoever and, due to the forgiving nature of the upper tip section, they will also play fish on light lines at close range.
Fuji DPS reel seats and slim line SIC, twin leg guides have been used to compliment the slim overall profile.
In testing the 3lb 12’ model has cast a 3oz lead in excess of 160 yards
These rods are serious contenders in the price bracket, and one of the slimmest rods on the market.
