The Horizon Distance Spod will cast the largest of spods as far as is physically possible. in testing this rod cast a fully loaded TB1 spod weighing over 7ozs in excess of 140 yards. This is a specialist tool and is best suited to anglers casting spods with a loaded weight in excess of 4ozs - smaller, lighter spods simply don't compress the blank enough to get the best out of it. This is a powerhouse of a rod that will genuinely reach previously unachieved distances with medium to large spods.
