Cultural Awareness Training - Islam and Muslims In today’s world, we often encounter other cultures, values, and practices and we are exposed to different styles of working and communicating. Many organisations have Muslim clients, workers and stake holders, or in some way encounter Islam and Muslim people. Our organisation offers cultural awareness training applicable to a variety of situations and settings. Understanding each other breaks down the barriers of mistrust, confusion and prejudice and opens wide the gate to talent and innovation and the opportunity to improve organisational performance and to deliver a more effective service. People are everything. They are our organisation, our clients and our future. Who will benefit from training ? Our comprehensive range of programmes and bespoke training packages are aimed at the public, educational and corporate sectors, particularly the following categories: Schools: key stage 1-4 and staff continual professional development (i.e. INSET) Law enforcement agencies Prison services Health professionals and organisations Local authority and government services Private sector corporations Media industry staff International agencies and NGOs Voluntary sector organisations: faith based, unions etc. We also offer “train the trainer” courses for Muslims who wish to offer some of the above training courses in their area. In this regard, we work with individual presenters or local organisations, but our preference is to encourage the formation of “Speakers Bureaus” dedicated to using our methods and materials.
