Casa Marchi has retained many of the original Tuscan features such as the huge beams of chestnut, with terra cotta ceilings and graceful arch’s. At Casa Marchi we can offer three well appointed double bedrooms and  two single adjoining rooms. All bedrooms have their own en-suite shower rooms, modern and spacious. An abundance of hot water with central heating for those cooler months. Casa Marchi is situated within the tiny medieval hamlet of Gombereto which pre-dates the 15th century. Gombereto is 7Kms above the spa town of Bagni DI Lucca, which is situated on the banks of the River Lima. It has many restaurants’ and bars, a delightful piazza, clay tennis courts, a superb swimming pool as well as a small intimate theatre. (Puccini is reputed to have played here.) Gombereto is linked to 23 hamlets and mountain top villages by ancient walkways - delightful for rambles or for serious hikes. Mountain biking is extremely popular and there are many areas to investigate.
