Built in 1753 for Admiral William Gordon (circa 1709 - 1768), the house took its name from the former monestary which once stood nearby.
This B Listed building has been carefully and sympathetically modernised and is now a comfortable, small hotel managed by the owners in traditional style.

The hotel has nine comfortable bedrooms (seven ensuite) accommodating up to seventeen guests in single, twin, double or family rooms. All rooms are well-appointed with colour TV, radio/alarm clock, tea/coffee making facilities and individually controlled heating.

In the evening, dinner provides another opportunity to sample our delicious home cooking. After dinner relax in the spacious Lounge.
