Celebrating 708 Years of Trading in Godalming

The Godalming & District Chamber of Commerce and the staff at GodalmingTown are always looking for ways to actively work with the businesses in the town in order to support and promote the town. Following the success of Martin's (that's Martin Appleford of Apple Gallery in Wharf Street) Pocket Sized Booklet promoting the diverse range of Independent and Specialist Retailers in the town back in 2006, the team here at GodalmingTown and the Chamber of Commerce have been working to produce a revitalised Map and comprehensive Directory of the Independent Retailers of Godalming. In 2007 we were able to persuade a local artist to help create a revised map of the town capturing the character of the lovely location. Then with the generous support of a number of local businesses we were able to produce the 2007 Godalming Map & Directory. With the continued support of local businesses, we are now pleased to launch the updated GodalmingTown Map and Directory - Summer 2008. This is now available from Waitrose Godalming and participating retailers around town and at locations in the district. The key sponsors for the GodalmingTown Map and Directory - Summer 2008 are: 1.
