Phone 0844 493 2167 Crathes Saturday 19th July Caledonian Railways Diesel Saturday! The Station, Park Road, Brechin, Angus, DD9 7AF The Caledonian Railway is going retro for six Summer Saturdays! Rekindle memories or see what it was really like to travel in days gone by with our heritage diesel loco's and carriages. The railway is running an intensive timetable of five trains a day from 10.20am to 3.55pm. For passengers who want to get a bit closer cab rides are available for £5 each. The Station, Park Road, Brechin, Angus, DD9 7AF Take a leisurely ride to Bridge of Dun on one of our steam hauled trains. The Angus countryside is magnificent at this time of year, so you may like to include a trip to the National Trust property at House of Dun during your visit. Starts 11 a.m. Aberdeen Friday 25th Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th July Traditional Singing Weekend Cullerlie Farm Park This annual festival celebrates the singing traditions of North-East Scotland, Orkney, England and Ireland at Cullerlie Farm Park, Echt. This event is especially for those who like to hear, enjoy and join in the traditional singing. At the Park there is a large tearoom where the staff serve soup, sandwiches, and lots of delicious home baking. They cater for all needs with a baby changing area plus disabled facilities. The Park nestles at the foot of the Hill of Fare, 6 miles north-east of Banchory and 12 miles west of Aberdeen. From Aberdeen follow the A944 to the Westhill roundabout, then fork left on the B9119 to Garlogie, then fork left again on the B9125 for 3 miles. The Park is on the right.
